Gayfeather Fabrics of Madison hosts nationally recognized sewing expert Linda Lee for a daylong seminar and trunk show on Saturday, March 31, from 9 am to 4 pm, at the Lussier Family Heritage Center in Lake Farm County Park. The $85 seminar fee includes a catered lunch buffet and refreshments. Interested participants may register at the store, 1521 Williamson Street, or by calling 608-294-7436. Linda Lee created the Sewing Workshop Pattern Collection, an independent clothing and accessory line that emphasize distinctive designs and innovative sewing techniques. She writes and speaks widely on fabric choice and methods. Gayfeather Fabrics also plans a free Open House with Linda Lee at its store the afternoon before the seminar. The Open House, co-hosted with Hans' Sewing and Vacuum located next door on Williamson Street, takes place Friday, March 30, from 3 pm to 6 pm. Deadline for seminar registration is March 15.
